SBIANCAMENTO DOMICILIARE
home bleaching
E 'bleaching technique that involves using a mask when you place an individualized gel carbamide peroxide 10, 15, 18, 20 or 25% (as appropriate) under the supervision of a dentist to be worn while sleeping for about 10 days.
The first professional whitening technique introduced in 1989 (Nightguard bleaching) using this method, using a 10% gel.
Over time, studies and products have evolved and are now available to different formulations that the dentist will advise according to different characteristics and needs of the patient.
not required to wear a mask during the night, it's just more comfortable. The mask can be worn during the day for at least 2 hours.
The mask is constructed so that the gel is contatto solo con i denti in modo che il gel non vada a contatto con le gengive.
In questo modo si ha la stessa effectiveness of bleaching "studio" in a longer time, but with a marked decrease in side effects, especially for sensitive teeth. The gel also contains substances such as potassium nitrate, which drastically reduced the dental hypersensitivity.
Advantages:
- The bleaching action of the product takes place outside the dental office, with the savings of time and work of the dentist, which results in a reduction in costs that the patient must support
- Effect whitening up to 15 shades
- Side effects (sensitivity and gingival irritation) minimized
- Low patient compliance, which must just remember to wear a mask before going to sleep.
- Duration whitening effect from 2 to 4 years
- relatively low costs
Disadvantages:
- It 'requires a little' more time than the treatment "under study"
finished bleaching is not thrown away templates, but keep them carefully! It can be used to make applications of fluoride, to make "adjustments" of one or two applications after a couple of years or for a new bleaching after 4 or 5 years!
The next time you will avoid bleaching of the fingerprints again and make new templates, saving time and money.
